Get involved

Give, partner, volunteer or sponsor a child — the ways you can join this work.

We will co-create change. That is a commitment we have put in writing — and it means the people who support this work are not at arm’s length from it. Here is how to join in.

Sponsor a child

Through the Child Relief Fund, a sponsorship covers school fees, uniforms, textbooks and educational materials for one child — and the medical care and follow-up that keeps them well enough to use them. Twenty-five children are sponsored today. Each new sponsor is one more child who stays in school.

Make a donation

One-off or regular gifts fund the programmes directly. Bank transfer and mobile money details are on our donate page.

Partner with us

We already work with more than 15 non-profit organisations, alongside government agencies and donors. If your organisation works in education, child protection, health or mental health in Tanzania, we would like to talk. We are equally glad to hear from companies looking for a meaningful, reportable partnership rather than a logo placement.

Volunteer your skills

Mental health professionals, teachers, mentors, medical staff, photographers and trainers all have a place in our programmes. Project Akili in particular depends on qualified counsellors and psychoeducators. Tell us what you do and how much time you have.

Give in kind

Books, uniforms, sanitary supplies, sports equipment, medical services and transport all reach children directly. Tell us what you can offer and we will match it to a centre that needs it.

Attend the Inspired Charity Gala

Our annual gathering brings orphans, caretakers, donors, funders and partners together for a day of inspiration and support. Ask us to add you to the invitation list.

Every child deserves a chance to rise

School fees, uniforms, books, medical care and counselling — your gift puts all of it within reach of an orphaned child in Tanzania.
