The Child Relief Fund is a dedicated initiative by the Child Inspired Foundation to provide financial support and resources that ensure vulnerable orphaned children receive proper education and healthcare services.
Education
The programme creates opportunities for orphans to access quality schooling, including primary, secondary and — where applicable — tertiary education. Funds raised are used to cover school fees, uniforms, textbooks and other necessary educational materials.
Scholarships and mentorship programmes may also be established to support orphans with exceptional potential, enabling them to pursue higher education and develop their skills.
Healthcare
The Child Relief Fund also addresses the medical needs of orphans by providing access to essential healthcare services. This includes regular check-ups, vaccinations, necessary medications and treatments.
The programme collaborates with medical professionals, clinics and hospitals to ensure that orphans receive appropriate and timely medical care. Alongside treatment, efforts are made to promote preventive healthcare practices, hygiene education and nutrition support, to enhance the overall wellbeing of the children.
Where it stands today
Since its inception, the Child Relief Fund has sponsored 25 children in education. Every additional sponsorship is another child who stays in school.
